Man, what a great New Years and Christmas. I wish you all the best in the New Years.

It was great getting  a break and getting to see my family and my friends. My amazing girlfriend got me an awesome present. It was this sweet leather jacket. I think she went over the spending limit, but it's so easy to forgive when the gift is so amazign. My brother gave me a ticket to go see Coldplay with all my friends. I've seen in the last little while, Paul McCartney, U2, and now Coldplay. I'm very pumped.

I hurt myself at New Years though. We had a hut tub party and decided to to polar bear runs. That's where you jump out of the hot tub and dive through the snow. I tried to push one of my friends because he was chickening out and then he pushed me. I fell over an 8 foot ledge in to his neighbours yard where I landed on a fallen tree. My leg from the hip to knee is bruised and it's not going so well with moving it. But I think it's better and I've refused to go get it checked out, so hopefully it's fine. Still had an amazing time though.

Work is going well. Things have calmed down a lot. I've only been beat up once there. I think there is less dealing and using going on in the building, but it still happens. It's tough to watch people destroy themselves.

I have passed all my police testing and now I will start my application process. It all takes so long which sucks, but I know it's the path I'm meant to be on. When it's supposed to happen it will.

My parents are looking in to buying a tent trailer and I now have 3 weeks holiday, so hopefully eventually I will be heading on a road trip to Florida. I can't wait for time off. I'm very pumped.

Love from

Well, we just had our Youth Councils here this last weekend and it was amazing. My band Hour Unknown played. It's always so amazing singing praises with so many people. God worked his wonders. It was a great weekend.

After we went to a lion safari which was awesome. I got to see a man lion making lion babies with a woman lion. It was hilarious. Then monkeys jumped on our car which was great. And the finale was a bison giving birth. We had perfect timing for it. My girlfirned I think thought it was nice, I was just disgusted by it. The miracle of birth needs to be cleaned up a bit. Nasty.

Yesterday I did my police testing. I passed both the written adn physical. I was very happy about that. Out of the 35 people that tried, only 15 were left after. Now I'm waiting for an interview.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Wow, I'm bad at keeping these things up.

But something exciting just happend. I just bought tickets to go see Paul McCartney in Columbus, Ohio. I'm very very pumped. I get to see an original Beatle perform his songs. The concert is on Saturday, October 22nd. Then on the Tuesday, October 25th I will be seeing U2 in Detroit. That's two huge concerts days apart. Man, it's a long way until November. Really sucks.

Work is going well. I haven't been attacked lately which is nice. I'm starting the application process with the police here. I'm really hoping I can start now at an early age. I'm graduating with my degree in Psych now. All done school. It feels really nice to never have to worry about any more exams or classes. Good deal in deed. Now I just need a job.

Things with me and the girlfriend are amazing. She treats me so good. I have never been so spoiled before. She's a photographer and just got her press pass. So apparently she can get me in to concerts for free. I'm pretty excited about that.

I really miss getting ready for camp this year. It's weird not to be. I've been working at camp the 8 summers prior to this. But it will be nice to be home and see my other friends that I ditch every summer and join in some of the misadventures with them. Good times indeed.

Well, I hope everyone in the US is well. I miss you all.

It snowed again here. I don't mind the snow too much, it's more the cold. But it has been warmer so that's nice. My display picture is what it looks like outside my porch which is pretty good.

I don't know about everyone else, but I am sick and tired of rappers like 50 Cent, The Game, and Loyd Banks. They are terrible and more marketed than Britney Spears and Ashley Simpson so that they appear as little gangster boys. They rap about money, hoes, and how bad they are. I am sick and tired of them and they all sound the same.

So I want to promote a fresh new Canadian who has been on the scene for a bit, but I don't know if he has penetrated into the States yet. He combines Wyclef Jean's eclectic, Caribbean-flavored vision of rap; Erykah Badu's organic fusion of hip-hop and soul; the socially-conscious storytelling of Mos Def; and the loose, live energy of the Roots. He is great. He is completely anti-bling and he uses acoustic guitar, reggae backbeats, buttery soul, and the occasional soaring rock chorus

So check out his CD Joyful Rebellion and the songs "Crabbuckit", "Man I Used to Be", "Hallelujah", and "Redemption Song".

Other hip-hop I've been enjoying is Kanye West. And go all the way back to 2Pac. That's the good stuff.

I admit, I'm no hip hop expert, but that's my rant and I'm sticking to it.
